Free Dental Care in Oklahoma

In searching for free dental care on Oklahoma, I reached out to the Oklahoma Dental Association. I received a very nice reply from Chelsea Canada, the Communications Manager at the ODA…

“Thank you for reaching out to us! I would like to direct you to Delta Dental’s Resource for Dental Care website (http://ddokfoundation.org/resource.asp).

On the home page there is a great PDF that you can print off called “Free and Low Cost Care Guide.” This guide is a listing of different free or low cost clinics that help individuals in Oklahoma. I hope this helps!”

So I first explored this link…

And actually, Chelsea was right. When you go to that website you will see an icon that looks like this…

When you click on that you can download the pdf file mentioned…and it is quite comprehensive. It lists the location o the clinics, contact information, services provided, and the fee structure (which includes quite a few that are listed as “free”).

The other method I uncovered is the Oklahoma Health Care Authority, which has a list of contracted dentists that provide free or low-cost services to needy patients.

You can contact them at 405-522-7401 for more information on the workings of the program.

I have dental implants but I need dentures made for them. I am 68 years young. I only have social security for income. I don’t have any dental insurance. I don’t have any money to pay for dental care.

      Michael,

If you are in Oklahoma the services that I outlined above would be the first that I would check. Did you do that?
