Free Dental Care in Florida

There are several different options for those who are seeking to find free dental care in Florida.

First of all, make sure to check out my “Free Dentures and Dental Care” page which will give you options available throughout the country.

However, if you are searching specifically in Florida, there are several options available for you.

Free Dental Care in Florida

The first is through the Florida Dental Association. When I went to their site, under the “For The Public” tab there was the “Access Options” page.

There were 6 options that opened up. But of the 6 options I am going to focus on Medicaid, Community Health Centers, Project: Dentists Care and the Reduced Fee Provider Search options.

In reality, all four of these really come back to the Reduced Fee Provider Search option, as it is here in the search feature that you can find the dentist you are looking for.

Because under this option you will find dentists that take Medicaid, volunteer their time to low-income patients and additionally are willing to accept reduced fee schedules.

You aren’t going to know which dentist will help you in which way until you reach out to them by calling the local dentists in your area and seeing what is available to you.

Now, as far as carrying out the search you have two options…explore both of them.

First is the search box on the Florida Dental Association website (click here to go straight to the results) and the second is through the Florida Medicaid office.

Simply pick your county and you will receive the contact information for the Field Office Manager of the Medicaid program in your county. You need to reach out to them and see what type of help they can provide you.

By following these steps seniors and other low-income individuals will be able to receive the free dental care that they desperately need.
