It was pretty easy for me to find resources for free dental in Arkansas. And for that reason, I think it will be easy for you as well. After all, I have them listed below.
First of all, make sure to check out my “Free Dentures and Dental Care” page for ideas on finding resources from national organizations like Donated Dental Services.
You don’t want to miss that.
However, Arkansas does have listings of both free dental clinics as well as dentists that take Medicaid through an online widget. I will explain both to you.
Free Dental Care in Arkansas
First of all, I would recommend that you download this pdf file from the Arkansas Department of Human Services.
It’s only 7 pages, but it has all the information that you need. It has the services offered, what needs pre-approval and most of all the statewide contact information for the program.
The one thing it does not have, however, is a list of participating dentists and clinics, though you can get this information from a the contact information listed.
To get the list of Medicaid providers, you would need to go here.
However, it is important to note that this interactive widget is a listing of all providers in Arkansas that accept Medicaid, not just dentists.
Therefore, I would reach out and make contact with the Arkansas Department of Human Services first at 1-800-482-5431 to make sure that you qualify for the program and then to find a participating dentist/clinic.
